Ahead of its release this February, a poster and trailer have arrived online for director Robert Rippberger’s sci-fi thriller Renner.
Frankie Muniz stars as Renner, a reclusive computer genius who creates his own A.I., Salenus, to help him find love, but after he begins a new relationship his creation takes a malicious turn and he realises too late that he’s accidentally programmed his manipulative mother into the code.
Joining Muniz in the cast are Violett Beane, Taylor Gray, and Marcia Gay Harden. Watch the trailer below…

Encouraged by Salenus, Renner forms a connection with his alluring neighbor Jamie, but their relationship starts to unravel when she begins to interact with the A.I. Renner arrives in cinemas on February 7th.
