Voltage Pictures has shared a poster and trailer for the comedy crime caper All Night Wrong.
Maria Bakalova and Zach Cherry star as Ell and Gary, strangers on a date after meeting online who find themselves in a terribly compromised position after they decide to “borrow” a shady motel clerk’s car in their search of cash, where they discover a dead body and $40,000 in the trunk.
Directed by Jason James, the film sees Bakalova and Cherry joined in the cast by Tyler Labine and Emily Hampshire. Watch the trailer below…
Gary (Cherry) and Ell (Bakalova) expect a straightforward hookup after meeting online – instead, they get a suspicious motel clerk, a stolen car, a backpack full of cash, and a body. Too compromised to call police, the two decide to handle it themselves. But the body won’t stay dead, and a cryptic plea sends them chasing a trail of blackmail, betrayal, and lost love before the night’s true villain is revealed. Equal parts dark comedy and crime thriller, it’s the worst and best first date imaginable.
All Night Wrong arrives in select cinemas and on digital on August 14th.
