Shout! Studios has released a poster and trailer for director Sam Yates’ neo-noir thriller Magpie.
The film centres on married couple Anette and Ben who find their relationship begin to fracture when their young daughter is cast alongside a controversial movie star, with whom Ben develops an intense infatuation.
The cast includes Daisy Ridley, Shazad Latif, Matilda Anna Ingrid Lutz, Pippa Bennett-Warner, Hiba Ahmed, Cherrelle Skeete, and Alistair Petrie. Watch the trailer below…
Magpie is a stylish neo-noir thriller centered on married couple Anette (Daisy Ridley) and Ben (Shazad Latif), whose lives begin to fracture when their daughter is cast alongside a glamorous movie star, Alicia (Matilda Anna Ingrid Lutz). As Anette’s suspicions of Ben’s infatuation with Alicia intensify, their secrets and lies threaten to burst to the surface and destroy them all.
Magpie arrives in cinemas on October 25th.
