Sumerian Pictures has shared a trailer for the Sundance award-winning drama Josephine.
The film centres on Josephine, an eight-year-old girl suffering from emotional trauma, who begins acting out violently as way of processing her feelings after witnessing a horrifying crime in Golden Gate Park.
Written and directed by Beth de Araujo, the cast includes Mason Reeves, Channing Tatum, Gemma Chan, Philip Ettinger, Syra McCarthy, and Eleanore Pienta. Watch the trailer below…
JOSEPHINE follows the psychological fallout after eight-year-old Josephine (Mason Reeves) witnesses a crime in Golden Gate Park. As she acts out, her parents (Channing Tatum and Gemma Chan) struggle with helping their daughter cope, while facing their own fears around the topic and how to address it with their child.
