Vertical has released a trailer for director Jean-Stéphane Sauvaire’s thriller Asphalt City.
Based on Shannon Burke’s 2008 novel Black Flies (which it was titled for its premiere in competition at Cannes last year, the film follows young paramedic Ollie (Tye Sheridan) as he is paired with seasoned partner Gene (Sean Penn), during the dangerous and chaotic nightshift in New York. Joining Penn and Sheridan in the cast are Katherine Waterston, Michael Pitt, Mike Tyson, Raquel Nave, and Kali Reis.
Asphalt City is set for release on March 29th.
