Trailer: Tony Todd, Kane Hodder and Sean Young star in horror The Activated Man

November 19, 2023 by Gary Collinson

Ahead of its World Premiere at the Dances With Films NYC festival this December, Genie Productions has shared a poster, trailer and images for The Activated Man, a mind-bending horror thriller from writer-director Nicholas Gyeney (Beta Test) and starring Tony Todd (Candyman), Kane Hodder (Jason X), Sean Young (Blade Runner), Andrew Keegan (10 Things I Hate About You), Jamie Costa (Bring Him To Me), Vladimir Kulich (The Equalizer), Ivana Rojas (The Terminal List), Sonia Jackson (Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi) and Edward Michael Scott (Beta Test) as the villainous Fedora Man. Watch the trailer below…

As Ors Gabriel struggles with the grief from losing his best friend and beloved dog to cancer, the trauma brings on strange visions only Ors can see. While he questions whether his mind has fractured or if it’s actually real, a mysterious rise in murder-suicides takes hold of the city, and Ors becomes haunted by images of a shadowy figure known as ‘The Fedora Man’. Through torments and terror, Ors must face his fears and confront ‘The Fedora Man’ as he uncovers dark secrets from his past, while finally embracing who he really is, and what he is meant to do.

The Activated Man is set to premiere as the closing night film of Dances with Films NYC on December 3rd.
