Two legends of gaming coming to World of Tanks

July 7, 2025 by Andrew Newton

This July sees the arrival of two legends of videogaming arrive in the latest Battle Pass Special for World of Tanks. The Heroes’ Path Battle Pass, running from 10th to 21st July, welcomes the heroes of the Tomb Raider and Duke Nukem franchises, with the addition of themed 2D styles, decals, emblems and more.  Watch the new trailer below to see what’s heading to players this July…

The arrival of gaming legends Lara Croft and Duke Nukem brings with them two unique Chapters, each themed around one of these iconic heroes.  Each chapter is packed with exclusive content and each character is given life through their acclaimed voice actors. For Lara Croft, her lines are delivered by the great Keeley Hawes, who has provided the voice for Lara in several games. Jon St. John provides the unmistakable voice of Duke Nukem, as he has done since 1996. Players are also able to enjoy two dynamic musical themes composed by Lee Jackson.

Players will be able to play through 30 stages for Tomb Raider Chapter and 40 for Duke Nukem with each providing a range of 2D styles, decals and emblems. There’s also the opportunity to unlock both Lara Croft and Duke Nukem with zero perks.  At the end of each Improved Reward track is the ultimate prize – a brand-new Premium tank designed to match the unique style of its hero.

Lara Croft players will get the IMT, a Tier VIII U.S. versatile medium tank. Equipped with iconic gear such as a winch, a hook-tipped harpoon, cables, ropes, a hatchet, powerful spotlights and range of hand tools to reflect Lara’s agility and ingenuity.

For Duke Nukem, players will get the TS-6, a Tier IX U.S. assault heavy tank that reflects Duke’s ability for total destruction. The tanks design draws inspiration from classic Duke Nukem weapons such as the incinerator and fire extinguisher.

World of Tanks brings a month of action and adventure with these two legends, join in the fun.
