February 5, 2019 by Gary Collinson

The Movie Partnership has unveiled a UK poster and trailer for Departures (a.k.a. Then Came You), a comedy-drama starring Asa Butterfield (Sex Education), Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones) and Nina Dobrev (The vampire Diaries) which follows an impulsive teenager with a terminal illness who recruits her hypochondriac friend to help her complete her unconventional bucket list before she dies. Check them out here…

Skye (Maisie Williams), an impulsive teenager with a terminal illness, befriends Calvin (Asa Butterfield), a 19-year-old hypochondriac who is afraid of his own shadow. When Skye recruits Calvin to help her carry out her unconventional bucket list of things to do before she dies, he learns to confront and conquer his own fears, including his greatest fear of all: talking to the beautiful, but seemingly untouchable, Izzy (Nina Dobrev).

Departures is set for a UK home-entertainment release on March 4th and also screens at the Dublin International Film Festival on February 25th.
