Manage your own nefarious medical corporation with Undead Inc.

February 22, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Ever felt like running your own unscrupulous bio-engineering company? Think you could do a better job of creating bio-weapons and other unethical experiments than Resident Evil’s Umbrella Corporation? Well, this March you can give this a try with Undead Inc. thanks to Rightsized Games and Team17 Digital.  Watch the new release date reveal trailer below…

Undead Inc. is a roguelike resource management game that tasks players with the job of becoming a managing director of their very own Endswell Medical franchise.  In this important role players will be required to develop the business, ensure the money flows in and meet the targets set by an increasingly hungry hoard….achem board of directors.

As Endswell Medical’s public-facing arm, players will need to keep things running smoothly in the public eye while keeping the company’s more nefarious underbelly secret.  It is the company’s seedy underbelly where players will research and develop bio-weapons, create questionable pharmaceuticals and devise dangerous technology, all of which will be for sale to the highest bidder.

Keeping this sort of business secret is difficult and eventually the truth will be discovered, but in order to continue Endswell Medical’s ambitious growth strategy, players will have to uproot their operation take as much money, equipment and experiments and whisk them to a new location where the cycle can start afresh.

Undead Inc. features:

  • Progress in science comes before ethics so make as much money from bio-weapons, dodgy pharmaceuticals, illegal tech’ etc as possible.
  • Choose from several different biomes to start your experiments. Each comes with its own opportunities and challenges.
  • Hire labour and scientists to carry out the experiments but be sure to choose the right person for the right job. The old wartime saying of ‘loose lips sink ships’ still applies.
  • Choose the right manager to stand at the helm of the franchise. Each one boasts their own special abilities, buffs and back stories.

Look out for Undead Inc. coming to PC this March.
