Underworld Ascendant arrives on Steam this November

505 Games and indie developer OtherSide Entertainment have announced that their the fan funded action RPG Underworld Ascendant will arrive on Steam for PC on 15th November.  A new trailer has also been revealed introducing the game’s main antagonist Typhon, father of all monsters and the nemesis of Zeus.  It’s also been announced that the game will be arriving on Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch in 2019.

In Underworld Ascendant players return to the Stygian Abyss to take the role of ‘The Ascendant’ and defeat Typhon.  There will be an assortment of items, skills and abilities available that will cater for all playstyles.

A variety of dangerous creatures, including Lizard Men, Outcasts and Mind Cripplers will attempt to waylay our hero as you travel through a dungeon environment that that reacts dynamically to your choices.

This action RPG will feature:

  • An immersive world that rewards creative experimentation.  Players will be able to interact with plantlife and physics based traps as well as a variety of creatures.
  • An epic storyline that sees rival factions fight for domination.
  • A world where every decision has a unique consequence on events and the game world.
  • Mix and match combat, magic and stealth abilities to create a hero of your own.
  • Experiment with a wide array of skills and magic using the Improvisation Engine to stack the odds in your favor.
  • An ever evolving environment to explore and a wide variety of quests to complete.
  • Earn rewards and unlock skills through good performance and solving problems creatively.

Underworld Ascendant arrives on Steam on 15th November.
