Urban Assault comes to Starship Troopers: Terran Command with new DLC

June 20, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Slitherine and The Artistocrats have announced the arrival of the second main DLC for their single player real-time strategy game based on the Starship Troopers Franchise, Starship Troopers: Terran Command.  This new DLC, titled Urban Onslaught, brings more missions for players to lead their Mobile Infantry to victory against the Arachnid onslaught. Watch the trailer for this new DLC below….

In Urban Onslaught, players get to lead their troops through a new nine-mission story campaign where they will need to defend the great city of Mahanagar from the Arachnid attack.  In a city where the homes of civilians have been turned to rubble, players will need to fight back and liberate a huge airport, clear the inside of buildings and travel through underground basements, sewers and metro lines.

Federal Intelligence has reported that four new Arachnid unit types have made an appearance in the city, these include the seemingly endless Hornets that swarm from their nest, Bursters that eject a volatile substance and the explosive projectile firing Ravagers.

In order to fight back against this great threat, there has been the introduction of eight new units, including the M23 Rainmaker and its missile barrage, the versatile M7 Cyclone and its air and ground attacks, and the minigun equipped A-12 Pegasus Gunship.  Players will also have access to four new defensive turret types: Mortar Turrets, Heavy Gun Turrets, Autocannon Turrets and Ballistic Missile Turrets.

Urban Onslaught features:

  • A new urban environment to fight through.
  • Nine mission story campaign that offer more tactical freedom.
  • Eight new player units, including missile launchers, hovering autocannons and airborne gunships.
  • Four new defensive turrets.
  • 4 new Arachnid unit types.
