Venom and Deadpool lead Diamond’s bestselling comic books and graphic novels of August 2020

Diamond Comic Distributors has released details of its direct sales figures for August 2020, with Marvel Comics leading both the comic book and graphic novel charts with Venom #27 and Deadpool Classic Vol. 1 respectively. And, with DC no longer under Diamond for its distribution, Marvel completely dominates both charts – the only non-Marvel title to feature in either being Image’s Pulp at #9 in graphic novels.

This is the last time we’ll be covering Diamond’s monthly sales charts here on Flickering Myth, as without DC’s figures included it’s essentially now just Marvel’s bestselling titles and therefore not a true reflection of the overall market. If a more accurate source becomes available, we’ll start posting the monthly sales once more.
