Video Review – Furiosa: A Mad Max Story Asks “What If Dune Was Cool AND Stupid?”

May 22, 2024 by EJ Moreno

EJ Moreno with a video review of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga…

Is the quasi-intellectual of Dune Part Two too much for you? Check out George Miller’s insane new blockbuster, which feels wackier and weird than the recent sci-fi epic.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga takes the desert-set madness and ups the ante with more shock and awe but a lot less of the emotional weight you’d expect. Can it also live up to Fury Road, the Max Mad masterpiece by George Miller? Join our critic, EJ Moreno, for an in-depth review of the film.

Check out the review below, and be sure to follow us on YouTube for more reviews, exclusive interviews, and other video content…

As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus.  Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.

Directed by George Miller and starring Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Burke, Alyla Browne, Nathan Jones, Angus Sampson, Quaden Bayles, Danile Webber, and Lachy Hulme.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga will be released on May 24th, 2024.
