Video Review – Strange Darling is the most shocking movie of the year

August 16, 2024 by EJ Moreno

EJ Moreno with a video review of Strange Darling…

In what will likely be one of the year’s most shocking movies, Strange Darling hits all the right notes for a stellar horror thriller. It’s a little sick and a little depraved, but the madness is a whole lot of fun to watch unfold.

Critic EJ Moreno sings the praises of the new film in his latest video review, where everyone from modern Scream King Kyle Gallner to the first-time cinematographer Giovanni Ribisi shines. But watch for Willa Fitzgerald in what could be a career-defining performance.

Nothing is what it seems when a twisted one-night stand spirals into a serial killer’s vicious murder spree. The film stars Willa Fitzgerald stars as a young woman who finds herself caught in a deadly game of cat and mouse with a twisted man (Kyle Gallner).

Strange Darling is written and directed by J.T. Mollner. It stars Willa Fitzgerald, Kyle Gallner, Barbara Hershey, and Ed Begley Jr.

Strange Darling is scheduled to be released in the United States on August 23, 2024 by Magenta Light Studios.
