The season finale for X-Men ’97 has hit Disney+, and it’s likely going to be one of the most talked-about Marvel moments of the year. The series goes fully down the Cosmic Marvel route with Celestials, religious-tinged self-sacrifice, and a moment Rogue fans will keep with them forever. It was everything you could ask for, but it still seems that the pushback against this season’s admittedly accelerated pace is keeping it from being as beloved as one would expect.
