Vikings: Valhalla season 2 first look images and premiere date revealed

November 22, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

Netflix has announced that the second season of the Vikings sequel series Vikings: Valhalla will arrive on the streamer this January.

Check out a selection of first look images featuring Frida Gustavsson as Freydis Eriksdotter, Leo Suter as Harald Sigurdsson, Sam Corlett as Leif Eriksson, Marcin Dorocinski as King Yaroslav, Bradley James as Harekr, Siobhán Callaghan as Cadlin, Stanislav Callas as Jorundr, Tolga Safer as Kurya, Hayat Kamille as Mariam, Sofia Lebedeva as Elena, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson as Olaf Haraldsson…

Set over a thousand years ago in the early 11th century, VIKINGS: VALHALLA chronicles the heroic adventures of some of the most famous Vikings who ever lived — the legendary explorer Leif Eriksson (Sam Corlett), his fiery and headstrong sister Freydis Eriksdotter (Frida Gustavsson), and the ambitious Nordic prince Harald Sigurdsson (Leo Suter). Season Two finds our heroes shortly after the tragic fall of Kattegat; an event that has shattered their dreams and altered their destinies. Finding themselves suddenly fugitives in Scandinavia they are forced to test their ambitions and courage in worlds beyond the fjords of Kattegat.

Season 2 of Vikings: Valhalla is set to premiere on Netflix on January 12th.
