Vin Diesel hints at casting in James Cameron’s Avatar sequels

It looks like Vin Diesel may be readying himself for a trip to Pandora, with the Fast & Furious star sharing a video from the set of James Cameron’s Avatar sequels where he seemingly suggests that he’s finally set to work with the legendary filmmaker. Check it out here…

Assuming Diesel has been cast in the film and isn’t just paying a visit to the set, then he’ll presumably be taking on a human role, with Cameron readying the live-action portion of the shoot having already wrapped filming on the motion capture elements for Avatar 2 and Avatar 3.

Avatar 2 will open on December 18th 2020, followed by Avatar 3 on December 17th 2021, Avatar 4 on December 20th 2024 and Avatar 5 on December 19th 2025. Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Matt Gerald, Dileep Rao, Stephen Lang, Giovanni Ribisi and Sigourney Weaver all reprise their roles from the first film, while new additions to the cast include Kate Winslet, Oona Chaplin, Cliff Curtis, Britain Dalton, Filip Geljo, Jamie Flatters, Bailey Bass, Trinity Bliss, Jack Champion, Duane Evans Jr., Edie Falco and Brendan Cowell.
