VR shooter Warhammer 40,000: Battle Sister releases on Steam

March 9, 2022 by Andrew Newton

Pixel Toys has released their narrative-driven action VR shooter Warhammer 40,000: Battle Sister on Steam today allowing players to set foot in the war torn 40K universe as a devout sister of the Emperor.  This Steam release is the most feature-packed release to date and includes all the content updates from the last 15 months, including Last Bastion horde mode, the big guns update, new maps and more.  A new Steam release trailer can be seen below…

Warhammer 40,000: Battle Sister puts players in the role of Sister Ophelia, a veteran Sister of Battle, who sets out on a quest to search for her lost twin sister.  Equipped with a range of powerful weapons that are familiar with fans of the 40K universe, such as plasma pistols, flamers, chainswords and bolters, players will blast their way through the forces of Chaos and help ensure a future for humanity.

Using the latest VR technology, Warhammer 40,000: Battle Sister will transport players to war-torn planets, vast interstellar battle cruisers and alien strongholds for fast-paced action.

Visuals aren’t the only stunningly detailed feature of the game, there’s also a wonderfully deep narrative that has been brought to life by a range of talented actors, including Victoria Atkin (Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Horizon Zero Dawn), Kristin Atherton (RSC) and Obioma Ugoala (Hamilton, Frozen).

Warhammer 40,000: Battle Sister is available now on Steam for £14.99 / $19.99.
