Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef coming to PC and consoles

June 4, 2021 by Andrew Newton

At the recent Warhammer Skulls Showcase it was announced that Rogueside, developers of the excellent Guns, Gore & Cannoli, will be bringing the greenskins of the Warhammer 40,000 universe to PC and consoles with Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef.  The game will be a 2D run and gun platformer that sees the battle-loving Orks doing what they love the most.  A new announcement trailer can be seen below…

In Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef, players take the role of an Ork warrior who sets out on a quest to rescue his hair squig (Orks are naturally hairless creatures and use hair squigs like toupees) from the Hive City of Luteus Prime.  In this non-stop, action-packed platform game, do what Orks do best and devastate enemy forces, destroy bosses and collect all their ‘teef’ (currency to Orks) to upgrade their equipment.  With a bit of luck, your prowess on the battlefield may inspire other Orks to join you on a WAAAGH!

Featuring:

  • Enjoy a deliciously absurd story that sees players shoot and smash through the Astra Militarum, Genestealer Cults, Space Marines and other Orks!
  • Play as one of multiple classes, each of which has its own toolkit and playstyle.
  • Choose between a huge variety of weapons spread across several categories, from Rokkit Launchas to Boomstikks.  In fact to an Ork, there can never be enough dakka dakka!
  • Feel the power of the WAAAGH and keep blasting enemies to unleash all the anger and gain unlimited ammo for a time.
  • Online and local co-op modes so up to 4 players can blast them ‘stoopid ‘umies’ together.
  • Those wanting to prove they should be the Warboss can battle it out with others in Versus Multiplayer Mode.

Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef will launch on PC and consoles in 2022.  Look out for more news coming in future.
