Watch Jack Quaid get punched, burned and shot in latest Novocaine featurette

February 25, 2025 by Matt Rodgers

Paramount Pictures are giving us a peek behind the pain suffered by Jack Quaid’s reluctant hero in their forthcoming action-comedy Novocaine, which stars the Companion actor as an everyman who must use his unique suffering threshold in order to save the girl he loves.

Written by Lars Jacobsen (Day of the Dead: Bloodline) and directed by Dan Berk & Robert Olsen (Significant Other), Novocaine also stars Amber Midthunder (Prey), Ray Nicholson (Smile 2), Betty Gabriel (Get Out), Matt Walsh (Veep), Lou Beatty Jr. (A Million Little Things), Evan Hengst (The Kissing Booth), Conrad Kemp (Free State) and Jacob Batalon (Spider-Man: No Way Home). Check out the behind-the-scenes video below…

“When the girl of his dreams (Amber Midthunder) is kidnapped, everyman Nate (Jack Quaid) turns his inability to feel pain into an unexpected strength in his fight to get her back.”

Novocaine is in cinemas on March 28th, 2025.
