October 17, 2017 by Andrew Newton

If you are into your RPG games then ELEX from developers Piranha Bytes (Gothic and Risen) may be right up your street.  ELEX is an RPG that combines elements of both science fiction and fantasy in a post apocalyptic world.  To celebrate the game’s release on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC, a launch trailer is available to watch below…

ELEX is an action packed open world RPG that takes players to the post apocalyptic science fantasy world of Magalan hat was once a prosperous world until it was devastated after a meteor collision. It is now a world where mutated creatures roam and magic and bullets whistle through the air during battles.  Deep moral choices await players in a world where those who survived the impact wage war against the other factions for survival and the rare element Elex which came with the meteor and can power machines, re-sculpt life and even give access to arcane powers.

There are four factions that players will encounter: the sword wielding, magic using Berserkers, the shotgun toting Outlaws, Clerics with their laser weapons and the War Mechs.  There’s a faction and equipment to suit every playstyle.  These factions (as well as other characters) offer a vast amount of quests and exploration opportunities.
