Wednesday featurette sees Tim Burton put his spin on The Addams Family

October 21, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

Netflix has released a new featurette for the eagerly-anticipated Addams Family spinoff, Wednesday which sees Tim Burton, showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, and stars Jenna Ortega and Catherine Zeta-Jones, along with other members of the crew discussing the creative genius that director/producer Burton brings to the series; watch it below…

The series is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy. Wednesday’s attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore.

Wednesday stars Jenna Ortega as Wednesday, Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia, Luis Guzmán as Gomez, Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley, and Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester alongside a cast that also includes Gwendoline Christie, Hunter Doohan, Percy Hynes White, Joy Sunday, Emma Myers, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Georgie Farmer, Naomi Ogawa, and Moosa Mostafa.

Wednesday will premiere on Netflix on November 23rd.
