Wednesday vs Thing in first clip from Netflix’s live-action Addams Family spinoff

During today’s Netflix’s TUDUM global fan event, Jenna Ortega was on hand to introduce the first clip from the upcoming The Addams Family spinoff Wednesday, which pits Ortega’s Wednesday Addams against Thing! Watch it below…

The series is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy. Wednesday’s attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore.

Wednesday stars Jenna Ortega as Wednesday, Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia, Luis Guzmán as Gomez, and Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley, alongside a cast that also includes Gwendoline Christie, Hunter Doohan, Percy Hynes White, Joy Sunday, Emma Myers, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Georgie Farmer, Naomi Ogawa, and Moosa Mostafa.

Wednesday will premiere on Netflix on November 23rd.
