Wonder Woman 2 casts Game of Thrones’ Pedro Pascal

March 29, 2018 by Ricky Church

Plans for Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman 2 are certainly heating up now. Just a couple weeks after the director cast Kristen Wigg as The Cheetah, Jenkins’ has made another new addition to the film.

According to Variety, Game of Thrones and Narcos actor Pedro Pascal has joined the anticipated sequel. This would mark a reunion between Jenkins and Pascal after having worked together for the TV film Exposed.

Pascal’s role in the film is currently being kept under wraps as are most of the story details. It’s been heavily rumoured for months that Wonder Woman 2 will take place in the 1980s during the Cold War, though what role Cheetah would have in that conflict is a mystery.

Wonder Woman 2 is expected to begin production in the UK on May 28, 2018 for a release date of November 1, 2019.
