Emilia Clarke and Nicholas Hoult to Go Down Together as Bonnie and Clyde

May 16, 2014 by Gary Collinson

Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) and Nicholas Hoult (Jack the Giant Slayer) have signed on to appear as notorious young outlaws Bonnie and Clyde in Go Down Together, an adaptation of Jeff Guinn’s book Go Down Together: The True, Untold Story of Bonnie and Clyde.

Go Down Together has been written by Sheldon Turner (Up in the Air) and David Auburn (Proof), with Michael Sucsy (The Vow) directing. According to The Wrap, the film “is a revisionist take on the legend of Clyde Barrow and femme fatale Bonnie Parker, young lovers who left at least seven bodies in their wake as they robbed banks throughout the Depression-era South.”

Clarke can currently be seen in Game of Thrones on HBO, and is busy shooting the fourth instalment of the Terminator franchise, Terminator: Genesis, while Nicholas Hoult returns as Beast next week in Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past.
