Has Warner Bros. found its Flash for Justice League?

April 12, 2013 by admin

Seeing as though it’s Friday and the weekend is upon us, we thought we’d partake in some wild speculation based upon loose rumours.

Executives at Warner Bros. have not been quiet about their praise and love for Guillermo del Toro’s kaiju movie Pacific Rim, which is shaping up to be one of the biggest movies of the year. As you would expect, a sequel script is already in the works, while del Toro’s adaptation of Dark Universe (or Justice League Dark) is also gaining momentum. But it seems they also have plans for the stars of the movie. In this case: Charlie Hunnam.

According to CHUD and their “sources” (who they apparently trust a lot), Warner Bros. has hired the Sons of Anarchy star to have his likeness used for Flash concept art for the Justice League movie – which would also put him in line for the role should the film ever get off the ground.

Now of course, this is all wild speculation and CHUD’s “sources” may be very wrong or just flat out lying. The latest news from the Justice League camp seems to be pointing towards Man of Steel’s success will determine the Justice League’s future and some rumours have said that it’s getting its own line of sequels as opposed to setting up the team-up movie. So who can say…

But should this rumour be true, can you see Charlie Hunnam as The Flash?
