Carnage to appear in the Venom movie?

April 15, 2014 by Gary Collinson

After teasing the character in a Daily Bugle viral article for The Amazing Spider-Man 2, producer Matt Tolmach has now touched upon the idea of the crazed serial killer Cletus Kasady appearing in Sony’s planned Venom spin-off movie.

“The idea of Venom and Carnage, taking it into consideration,” said Tolmach in an interview with IGN to promote the release of the Spidey sequel. “Watch out for this Venom movie. We are crazy excited.”

So, might we see Carnage as the antagonist to the original symbiote?

Venom is currently in development under The Amazing Spider-Man 2 screenwriters Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, along with Ed Solomon (Men in Black) while Kurtzman is also attached to direct.
