Cara Delevingne rumoured for Suicide Squad role as Harley Quinn

October 28, 2014 by Thomas Roach

Model, actor and socialite Cara Delevingne is the latest name to be rumoured for the upcoming Warner Bros. DC movie Suicide Squad. There’s no word on which character she could be in contention for, but speculation is pointing to Harley Quinn who is the prominent female character of the Suicide Squad.

Previously Margot Robbie (The Wolf of Wall Street) was rumoured to be up for the female lead role, while Tom Hardy (The Dark Knight Rises), Ryan Gosling (Only God Forgives) and Will Smith (After Earth) have also been linked to the project.

Delevingne has recently taken up more roles in acting. She is set to appear in the Joe Wright movie Pan alongside Hugh Jackman, and as the lead in Paper Towns, an adaptation of the John Green novel of the same name.

Suicide Squad is being directed by David Ayer (Fury) and is set for release in 2016.

Would you like to see Cara Delevingne play Harley Quinn? Let us know your thoughts…
