Ex-footballer, actor and hard-man Vinnie Jones has signed on for a guest role in The CW’s superhero series Arrow, with Variety reporting that the British star is set to play the character of Danny Brickwell, a.k.a. Brick.
A supervillain possessing thick, invulnerable skin, Brick will appear as a gang leader intent on bringing Starling City’s government to his knees. Jones is set to appear in episodes 10, 11 and 12 of the show’s third season.
This isn’t Jones’ first foray into the world of superheroes, having played another invulnerable villain the Juggernaut in 2006’s X-Men: The Last Stand.
