Following the announcement that Marvel’s upcoming Agent Carter will premiere on ABC on Tuesday, January 6th, it has now been announced that Bridget Regan (John Wick, Jane the Virgin) has signed on for a recurring role as Dottie, described as a small-town girl from Iowa who’ll have a huge impact on the life of Peggy when she moves in next door.

Agent Carter sees Hayley Atwell reprising the role of Peggy Carter alongside Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark, while the cast also includes Shea Whigham (Boardwalk Empire) as Roger Dooley, Enver Gjokaj (Dollhouse) as Agent Daniel Sousa, Chad Michael Murray (One Tree Hill) as Agent Jack Thompson, James D’Arcy (Let’s Be Cops) as Jarvis, Lyndsy Fonseca (Kick-Ass) as Angie Martinelli and Bridget Regan (John Wick) as Dottie.
