Marvel’s Doctor Strange begins production in November

Marvel’s Doctor Strange will begin production this November, according to Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.

During the press event for Marvel’s latest movie Avengers: Age of Ultron, Feige confirmed that November 2015 is when shooting on the Phase Three film will begin, and stated that he was ‘excited’ about Benedict Cumberbatch playing the titular character.

Doctor Strange is set for release November 4th, 2016 and will be directed by Scott Derrickson (Sinister), with Benedict Cumberbatch as the Sorcerer Supreme. So far no other cast members have been confirmed, although Chiwetel Ejiofor has been rumoured to be attached to the project in an unknown role.
