While we’ve known for some time that Sony and Marvel are taking Spider-Man back to high school for the web-slinger’s Marvel Cinematic Universe incarnation, we haven’t known exactly how old Tom Holland’s Peter Parker will be… until now.
Speaking to Empire (via Yahoo), director Jon Watts revealed that: “I love the idea of making a coming-of-age high-school movie. We’re really going to see Peter Parker in high school and get deeper into that side of it. He’s just 15 now.”

Spidey makes his MCU debut in Captain America: Civil War, which opens on April 29th 2016 in the UK and May 6th 2016 in the States, while the as yet untitled Spider-Man reboot will hit cinemas on July 28th 2017.
