During an interview with NY Daily News to promote the release of his new film In the Heart of the Sea, Chris Hemsworth has briefly spoken about his return as the God of Thunder for 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok, and how a rematch between Thor and Mark Ruffalo’s Incredible Hulk might go down.
“I’d like to think I let him win last time, but because this movie is called Thor, I have to win this time,” states Hemsworth. “I hope it’s a Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid sort of story. That would be fun. I love Mark. I think those two characters haven’t spent a whole lot of time talking to each other on screen (so far in the Marvel movies) , so it’s something new, I think it would bring something different out of the characters. It’s hard to have a conversation with the Hulk.”

Thor: Ragnarok is to be directed by Taika Waititi (What We Do in the Shadows) and features a cast that so far includes Marvel veterans Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk), Tom Hiddleston (Loki) and Jaimie Alexander (Lady Sif). The film is set for release on November 3rd 2017.
