Rumoured details on Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman costume for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

May 28, 2014 by Gary Collinson

We’ve seen Ben Affleck as The Dark Knight, but we’re yet to see what director Zack Snyder and costume designer Michael Wilkinson has cooked up for Wonder Woman’s big screen debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice under actress Gal Gadot; well, while we wait, some new rumours have popped up online suggesting that Gadot’s costume will resemble the one worn by the Amazon Princess in The All-New Wonder Woman #600, which served as the inspiration for the character’s look in the video game Injustice: Gods Among Us….

Obviously this is just rumour at present, but how would you feel if they went for that look in Batman v Superman? Or would you prefer to see them trying to pull off a more traditional costume?

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is set for release on May 6th 2016 with Affleck and Gadot appearing alongside returning Man of Steel stars Henry Cavill (Superman), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Diane Lane (Martha Kent) and Laurence Fishburne (Perry White), in addition to newcomer Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jesse Eisenberg (Now You See Me) as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons (The Borgias) as Alfred Pennyworth and Holly Hunter (The Piano), Callan Mulvey (300: Rise of an Empire), and Tao Okamoto (The Wolverine) in as-yet-unrevealed roles.
