Franz Drameh joins The CW’s Arrow/Flash spinoff

April 24, 2015 by Gary Collinson

The CW has added another new addition to its DC universe, with Franz Drameh (Attack the Block, Edge of Tomorrow) set to play the character of Jay Jackson in the upcoming Arrow/Flash spinoff, which is rumoured to be titled Legends of Tomorrow.

The original character is described as “a former high school athlete, whose pro-career was derailed by injury. Now making ends meets as an auto mechanic, Jay will come to have a surprising affiliation to the S.T.A.R. Labs crew.”

Sounds a lot like Victor Stone, no?

The spinoff is being eyed as a midseason show, and is set to star Brandon Routh (Ray Palmer/The Atom), Victor Garber (Martin Stein/Firestorm), Wentworth Miller (Leonard Snart/Captain Cold), Dominic Purcell (Mick Rory/Heat Wave), Caity Lotz (who may or may not be Lance/Black Canary), Ciara Renee (Law & Order: SVU) as Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl, and Arthur Darvill (Doctor Who) as Rip Hunter.
