Connie Britton joins Ben Mendelsohn in The Land of Steady Habits

February 25, 2017 by Gary Collinson

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Connie Britton has lined up her first post-Nashville project, signing on to appear in the Netflix movie The Land of Steady Habits, where she will star alongside Ben Mendelsohn (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie) and Thomas Mann (Me and Earl and the Dying Girl).

The Land of Steady Habits is an ensemble comedy drama which follows “a man (Mendelsohn) in his fifties who, just when he seems to have it all, implodes in the middle of affluent Connecticut life. He leaves his wife, buys a condo, and waits for freedom. But when he realizes he made a gross error in judgment, he embarks on a clumsy journey to redeem his personal and professional missteps.” Britton is set to play a divorcee who develops a connection with Mendelsohn’s character after meeting him at a strip club.

The project is being written and written and directed by Nicole Holofcener (Enough Said), and is based upon the Ted Thompson novel of the same name.
