The cast of the sequel to 2014’s Godzilla is growing on par with the big beast himself.
Deadline reports that Charles Dance has now finalized a deal with Warner Bros., and Legendary Pictures to appear in the upcoming Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Also set to make an appearance is Sally Hawkins, who played Dr. Vivienne Graham in Gareth Edwards’ Godzilla.
Just like the movie itself, the character that Dance will play remains steeped in mystery. Given that the movie will not be releasing until 2019 (followed by monster brawler Godzilla vs. Kong), it may be some time before we have any detailed information about the film.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters hits theaters on March 22nd, 2019, and will be directed by Michael Dougherty (Trick ‘r Treat), with a cast that includes Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things), Kyle Chandler (Friday Night Lights), O’Shea Jackson Jr. (Straight Outta Compton), Vera Farmiga (Bates Motel), Aisha Hinds (Star Trek Into Darkness), Charles Dance (Game of Thrones), and the returning Sally Hawkins and Ken Watanabe.
