Static almost appeared in Injustice 2, check out some concept art here

May 27, 2017 by Gary Collinson

The DC fighting game Injustice 2 arrived this past week, and while the sequel to Injustice: Gods Among Us expanded its roster of DC heroes and villains, one character who didn’t make the final cut was Virgil Hawkins. However, there were plans to include the fan favourite, as evidenced by some concept art from character designer Marco Nelor.

“So sad about this one,” said Nelor. “He was all cleaned up and ready to go, but unfortunately Static didn’t make the cut for Injustice 2… damn. I had him all worked out too. Oh well. Enjoy!”
