Deadline is reporting that Paramount Pictures has bought an untitled screenplay from Joe Epstein as a potential directing vehicle for Darren Aronofsky. Plot details are scarce, but it is said that it will revolve around an artificial intelligence court case.
Following the announcement, Aronofsky took to Twitter to reveal that he is yet to officially board the project:

The Requiem for a Dream, Black Swan and The Wrestler helmer is heading into the horror/thriller territory for his next film mother!, which sees Jennifer Lawrence leading a cast that includes Javier Bardem, Michelle Pfeiffer, Domhnall Gleeson, Ed Harris, and Kristen Wiig. It is set for release on October 13th.
