Despite a huge, twelve-month long shoot across two movies, Marvel Studios has done an effective job of keeping a shroud of secrecy around Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4, with very little in the way of details and leaks making their way online.
Speaking to Total Film (via CBM), actor Paul Bettany – who portrays The Vision – has revealed one of the lengths that directors Anthony and Joe Russo went to in an effort to prevent any major spoilers from making their way online:
“When I read the script there were fake scenes in it,” said Bettany. “I got the directors on the phone and they walked me through what were the fake scenes. They’d had three leaks already, so they’d written a script with lots of fake scenes. There were three Hero iPads that had the only real script on them.”
An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.
