First trailer for Shadow of the Tomb Raider revealed and it’s looking great

April 27, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Square Enix, Eidos-Montréal and Crystal Dynamics have revealed the trailer for the highly anticipated Shadow of the Tomb Raider.  This latest in the award winning Tomb raider series will be available for the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC on 14th September.  You can watch the trailer below…

Shadow of the Tomb Raider takes Lara to a deadly jungle where ancient and terrifying ruins and tombs hold an ever present danger.  Only by fighting her way through every threat can she save the world from a Mayan apocalypse and become the Tomb Raider we all know she becomes.

Camilla Luddington, star of Rise of the Tomb Raider will reprise her role as the voice of Lara Croft.

“Shadow of the Tomb Raider will challenge Lara Croft in new and unexpected ways. Our team has created a diverse set of skills, combat techniques and equipment for players to master, and they’ll certainly need them if they hope to survive the deadly jungle environments and tombs.” said David Anfossi, Head of Studio at Eidos-Montréal.

“Thanks to their incredible expertise, knowledge of the franchise and outstanding creativity, Eidos-Montréal, in collaboration with Crystal Dynamics, is delivering a powerful experience with Shadow of the Tomb Raider,” said Yosuke Matsuda, president and representative director of Square Enix Holdings Co., Ltd. “Shadow of the Tomb Raider will take the series to new heights and Lara Croft to new depths.”

Pre-ordering for Shadow of the Tomb Raider‘s Standard, Digital Deluxe, Croft, and Ultimate Editions is available now.
