Black Panther’s Chadwick Boseman to star in 17 Bridges from the Russo Brothers

July 14, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman is set to reunite with Avengers: Infinity War directors Joe and Anthony Russo to headline the action thriller 17 Bridges.

The film will see Boseman portraying a disgraced NYPD detective who, after being thrust into a citywide manhunt for a cop killer, is given a shot at redemption.

Boseman will produce the movie with the Russos and his writing and producing partner Logan Coles, with Brian Kirk (Game of Thrones) directing from a script by Adam Mervis (The Philly Kid).

Following his success in Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War, Boseman is starring in the plane hijacking thriller Expatriate as well as producing The Stars in My Soul. He is also expected to reprise his Marvel role as T’Challa in Avengers 4 and Black Panther 2.
