New featurette for Hunter Killer takes us behind-the-scenes

Ahead of its theatrical release later this month, a new featurette has arrived online for Lionsgate’s upcoming action thriller Hunter Killer which includes interviews with stars Gary Oldman and Gerard Butler, director Donovan Marsh, producers Les Weldon, John Thompson, and Toby Jaffe, and war room advisor Captain Russell Coons and sees them discussing the U.S. Navy’s involvement in the film and how the submarine was brought to life on the big screen; take a look here…

Deep under the Arctic Ocean, American submarine Captain Joe Glass (Gerard Butler, Olympus Has Fallen, 300) is on the hunt for a U.S. sub in distress when he discovers a secret Russian coup is in the offing, threatening to dismantle the world order. With crew and country on the line, Captain Glass must now assemble an elite group of Navy SEALs to rescue the kidnapped Russian president and sneak through enemy waters to stop WWIII.

Hunter Killer is set for release on October 19th in the UK and on October 26th in the US.
