The Mandalorian set photos feature Imperial Stormtroopers and an alien creature

October 11, 2018 by Gary Collinson

With filming now underway on The Mandalorian, some new set photos have surfaced online from Jon Favreau’s live-action Star Wars series, the first of which gives us a glimpse of a new alien creature, and the second featuring a couple of Imperial Stormtroopers (sans masks) who are presumably part the last remnants of the Empire following its defeat at the Battle of Endor. Check the set photos out via Making Star Wars at the links below…

The official synopsis for The Mandalorian reads:

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.
