Rising Storm 2: Vietnam’s Christmas Special brings little green men

December 11, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Tripwire Interactive and Antimatter Games have announced that Green Army Men have arrived on their award winning FPS Rising Storm 2: Vietnam as part of a FREE toy sized Christmas Special.  Players can take on strategic battles with toy soldiers on a brand new map.  Check out the action packed trailer below and smell the burning plastic…

Running until the first week in January, this Christmas Special will see players take part in strategic 64 player matches using toy soldiers.  A brand new Christmas themed map set in a cosy family home complete with Christmas tree, toy village, building blocks and race tracks will be available for the miniature toy soldiers to fight over.  Use race tracks to access new areas and gain the high ground by taking to the skies in toy helicopters.

If playing with toy soldiers isn’t enough, there’s also a free Seasonal M1 Helmet and a host of seasonal themed achievements for players to look forward to.  However, if anyone fancies saying “Bah Humbug” to the festivities at any point then all the normal Vietnam content will remain available meaning players can jump into the humid jungles of Vietnam anytime they please.

Rising Storm 2: Vietnam Christmas Special is available now.
