Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s new Blackout map Alcatraz arrives on PS4 on Tuesday

April 1, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Treyarch and Activision have released a new trailer for the brand new Blackout battle royale map coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on Playstation 4 tomorrow.  This new Blackout map will take players to the island prison of Alcatraz.  The action packed trailer below showcases some of the environments players will fight through…

The new Blackout Alcatraz map will have players fight across the fog laden island through a variety of environments, all of which lead to the big cell block at the top of the hill.  Players will be able to enjoy both close range combat inside the building and long range exterior firefights.

Alcatraz will launch in addition to the original Blackout map, providing players to be able to choose from two distinct maps.

The new Blackout map arrives on PS4 tomorrow and on Xbox One and PC at a slightly later date.

The new Blackout Alcatraz map is set in a fog-filled island boasting a variety of environments that all lead up to the big cellhouse atop the hill. Requiring new strategies and tactics, players will drop in, gear up and fight through both close-quarters combat and long-range exterior firefights as they battle to be the last squad standing.
