A Plague Tale: Innocence gets a launch trailer

With the release of the highly anticipated A Plague Tale: Innocence set for tomorrow, Asobo Studio and Focus Home Interactive have released the game’s launch trailer.  There will also be an official livestream at 5PM BST on the Official Focus Home Interactive Twitch Channel.  Enjoy the new trailer below…

Taking place in France during the time of the Hundred Years War, A Plague Tale: Innocence will place gamers in the role of young orphan Amicia as she journeys with her brother through the plague ravaged streets.  Players will need to guide her and her brother past rats, soldiers and the Inquisition who are in hot pursuit.

With both plague and war causing the deaths of so many, rats are breeding in huge numbers and their insatiable appetites drive them to consume anything in their path.  The only way for Amicia and Hugo to get past these deadly swarms is to use fire to their advantage.  However, the inquisition, led by the brutal commander Lord Nicholas, is not so easy to avoid.

Asobo Studio’s debut new IP, A Plague Tale: Innocence, launches tomorrow for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on May 14. Watch the Launch Trailer now and embark on a dark adventure through a war-torn, medieval France, relentlessly pursued by the Inquisition and never-ending hordes of ravenous rats.

A Plague Tale: Innocence will be available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC tomorrow, May 14th.
