Rila Fukushima’s Katana returning in Arrow’s final season

As revealed by GreenArrowTV, The Wolverine actress Rila Fukushima is set to reprise the role of Tatsu Yamashiro, a.k.a. Katana, in the upcoming eighth and final season of The CW’s Arrow.

Fukushima first made her debut in the DC series back in its third season, and was last seen in the season four episode ‘Unchained’. She will be back as Katana in the second episode of season eight, which is titled ‘Welcome to Hong Kong’, as revealed by Oliver Queen himself, actor Stephen Amell.

Featuring in the season eight cast of Arrow are Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Rick Gonzalez as Rene Ramirez, Juliana Harkavy as Dinah Drake, Katie Cassidy as Laurel Lance, Joseph David-Jones as Connor Hawke, Katherine McNamara as Mia Smoak, Ben Lewis as William Clayton and Charlie Barnett as John Diggle, Jr.

Arrow’s shortened season eight is set to get underway on Tuesday, October 15th, where it airs back-to-back with The Flash.
