Joseph Gordon-Levitt returning to the small screen for Mr. Corman

September 9, 2019 by Gary Collinson

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is teaming with A24 and Apple for a new half-hour comedy series entitled Mr. Corman, which will be released on the upcoming Apple TV+ streaming service.

The series is being written, directed and executive produced by Gordon-Levitt, who will also star in what is described as “a deep cut into the days and nights of a public schoolteacher in the San Fernando Valley.”

Mr. Corman marks a return to the small screen for Gordon-Levitt, who starred alongside John Lithgow, Kristen Johnston and French Stewart in the sitcom 3rd Rock from the Sun for six seasons between 1996 and 2001.

Gordon-Levitt will next be seen on the big screen in the aircraft-hijacking drama 7500, and is currently preparing to shoot Aaron Sorkin’s new film The Trial of the Chicago 7.
