Sneak peak trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare released ahead of the Beta starting this Thursday

September 10, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Following a hugely successful 2v2 Alpha of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on the Playstation 4, Activision are getting fans excited for even more Multiplayer content with the upcoming Beta with a brand new sneak peak trailer.  The Beta starts exclusively for Playstation 4 owners on Thursday 12th September.

The upcoming Beta weekend provides a sneak peak at a collection of several maps and modes, including the close quarter 2v2 Gunfight mode, the traditional 6v6 and even larger firefights.  Players will also get the opportunity to try out some of the new gameplay mechanics such as bullet penetration, gun mounting, door breaching and night vision multiplayer maps with night vision goggles.

The plan for the upcoming Beta weekends are as follows:

Beta Weekend 1

  • 12th – 13th September – Exclusively for those who have pre-ordered the game on Playstation 4.
  • 14th – 16th September – Free for all Playstation 4 players to try out.

Beta Weekend 2

  • 19th – 20th September – These two days are open for ALL Playstation 4 owners and for Xbox One and PC owners who have pre-ordered.
  • 21st – 23rd September – The final days of the Beta are open to everybody on Xbox, Playstation 4 and PC, regardless of pre-order purchase or not.
